Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Business Support Officer to support the People & Skills Service. This key role will work to and primarily support the Head of People & Skills to oversee and manage this large service which supports thousands of individuals and businesses every year.
The postholder will be part of our central business support team, and be able to draw on and contribute to the expertise of this team but will work directly to the Head of Service for People & Skills, and support them in their role on a day to day basis while ensuring a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor. You be highly organised, able to prioritise your work, be an excellent note taker and meeting convener and ultimately focus on delivery. You will hopefully have an interest in helping people to progress in their careers.
