Careers Hub Operational Lead (Employer)

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity to join the West of England Careers Hub as Operational Hub Lead (Employers), part of the West of England Combined Authority’s Business and Skills team. 

 

Joining a well-established Careers Hub, you will work in partnership with the team and key stakeholders to achieve high quality careers programmes, working towards sustainable system change that enables young people to take their best next step.  

 

To enable further progression of the Careers Hub we need a talented and passionate leader who will drive impact and success across our strategic priorities and targets. 

 

In this strategic role you will lead, shape, influence and coordinate the development and implementation of the Careers Hub, working closely with the Strategic Hub Lead, Operational Hub Lead (Education) and the Education Co-ordinator.   

 

Who are we looking for? 

 

As the Operational Hub Lead (Employers) you will be using your skills and experience of employer outreach, as well as your knowledge of skills and local priorities, developing the Hub’s strategy for engaging with employers and supporting employers to develop their offer.  You will work closely with the Operational Hub Lead (Education) to ensure our schools and colleges can deliver high quality careers and enterprise education. 

 

In addition to your track record of excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration, you will also bring your project skills, enabling the development and delivery of innovative and creative solutions and projects.  In return, we will create exciting opportunities for you, supporting you to try new ideas and develop your skills. 

 

This is a fixed term appointment, with a current end date of 31 August 2023, but could be longer subject to continued funding.
