Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Community Energy Manager, to join the South West Net Zero Hub team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
- Leading engagement with community energy organisations and projects across the wider south west of England
- Identifying community energy project opportunities.
- Facilitating collaborative working between community groups and local authorities
- Shaping and delivering a new grant fund for the community energy sector
- Working with project leads to support successful delivery
