If you are also experienced and skilled in how to implement that into policy, practice and service delivery, we would love to hear from you.

The Authority is seeking to appoint a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Business Partner, to join the Human Resources team. You will be the professional expert, and source of expertise to ensure a focus on delivering key priorities and overseeing strategies that will:

  • Create and deliver our DEI action plan working closely with our representative and enthusiastic DEI Group, and regularly updating our leadership team..
  • Develop and embed our DEI approach using an evidence based approach, seeking out good practice on policy and delivery inside and outside of the Combined Authority’s partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders regarding our DEI responsibilities as an employer, a civic leader, an investor and a service provider

The Combined Authority is committed to tackling discrimination, injustice and inequality across the West of England by embedding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in everything we do and this role is essential to delivering on these priorities alongside a passionate and committed DEI Staff Advisory Group.
