Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner, to join the Finance team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
- Supporting the Capital Delivery team, leading on providing the financial information and insights that they need to ensure they successfully deliver projects.
- Ensuring that the monthly management accounts are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Working closely with the rest of the Finance team to challenge and improve processes.
- Liaise with budget managers on a monthly basis to establish the cause of budget or forecast variances when comparing to actual results.
- Effectively handle queries from key budget managers, and proactively help them to manage costs in their areas of the business through business partnering.
