Housing Retrofit Manager - South West Energy Hub

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Housing Retrofit Manager to deliver significant new projects in housing retrofit 

The Housing Retrofit Project Manager will lead the SW Energy Hub’s work on home energy efficiency across the wider south west including developing and implementing a programme of energy efficiency improvements, coordinating external delivery services and local authority participation.  This will deliver a multi-million pound investment in energy inefficient homes of lower income households – helping to reduce carbon emissions and fuel poverty. The Green Homes Grants Local Authority Delivery Phase 2 is funded by the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). 

Crucially, successful candidates will use their experience of energy efficiency projects, supply chain engagement, contract and grant management experience to implement an agreed delivery model and lead sourcing activity, with support from our Procurement Team.

This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to 30 June 2022, with the potential for extension if additional income is secured from the Sustainable Warmth and Social Housing Decarbonisation Funds.  Secondments from other organisations will be considered.  

Location is flexible within the south west of England.
