Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Are you passionate about all things ‘digital’, especially digital inclusion, infrastructure and innovation? Do you want to tackle digital exclusion and ensure that location is not a barrier to good broadband?

The West of England Combined Authority’s Strategic Innovation Team is  tackling our region’s challenges by driving fresh ideas to improve services and boost outcomes for people and place, in partnership with Local Authorities and the region’s diverse innovation ecosystem.

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic colleague to work within our friendly and ambitious team. As an Innovation Project Officer, you will be supporting a range of Research & Innovation and Digital Transformation projects and funding opportunities, driving the project cycle from start to close, and delivering on the Mayor’s priorities for digital inclusion.

You don’t need to be an innovation specialist (yet) – your focus on impact and your curiosity regarding innovation will set you apart. You will be a confident communicator and passionate about researching and analysing the facts underpinning our decision making.
