Job Introduction
The West of England Combined Authority is seeking to appoint several Junior Project Managers to join the Infrastructure team, each to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor for one of the following projects:
- Bristol to Bath Sustainable Transport Corridor: This role will support the delivery of schemes within this programme of works. The schemes might include a mix of smaller walking and cycling infrastructure projects, a new multi-modal transport hub and new bus lanes.
- Bus Service Improvement Plan: This role will work within the passenger experience sub-programme on projects ranging from travel guides and journey planning apps to bus stop technology.
- M32: This is one of the flagship CRSTS major projects which is cross-boundary between Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The business case for the project involves complex elements such as the reclassification of the M32 in order to develop a transport interchange with associated bus lanes. The Junior PM role will be required to support the business case development for the project, identifying and taking forward a preferred option.
