Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Lead Economist to join the Analysis & Evaluation team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

Leading wide-ranging research and analysis of how to deliver growth, equality and net zero in the region;

Bringing expertise in understanding economic impacts to find robust, compelling and creative ways to articulate the effects our regional investments will bring; and

Assessing investment proposals to ensure that our spending provides good value for money.
