Job Introduction

The West of England Combined Authority has an exciting new opportunity for a Monitoring Officer (MO) to play a key role in working with us to support the voluntary and community sector (VCS) to deliver projects and activities which support the most vulnerable in our communities to move closer to positive employment skills and training outcomes.

The primary purpose of this role is to maximise learning from the £1.5 million Community Support Fund (CSF).  The post holder will work closely with the project team within the Combined Authority, Local Authority partners, a range of stakeholders and VCS groups, ensuring that all of the outcomes, outputs and wider benefits of projects supported through the CSF are captured, measured and evaluated.

Our supportive team is looking for someone who has experience of developing efficient, high quality data management systems and processes to support recording, monitoring and evaluation of the CSF. If you have this experience, are highly motivated, and organised and enjoy working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, then we’d love to hear from you.

Experience of community groups is not essential, but we are looking for an individual who is passionate about being part of a project which will maximise positive skills and employment progression for groups most in need across the region.

This is a fixed term contract until March 2023.
