PMO Planning/Schedule Manager

Job Introduction

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a PMO Schedule/Planning Manager, to join the Infrastructure PMO team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

  • Creating and owning the standards and processes which facilitate timely and accurate schedule analysis and reporting.
  • Owning and managing the integrated master schedule.
  • Undertaking regular assurance reviews.
  • Developing scheduling maturity by providing training and coaching.
  • Managing the PMO schedule team.

 Are you someone who is focussed on attention to detail, able to summarise complex information coherently for senior stakeholders and ultimately always focuses on delivery? 

The ideal candidate is someone who has a keen eye for detail, who can look at what different data sets are telling them to see the whole story.  We are looking for someone with an infrastructure, construction or transport background, to lead a team of schedulers.  With over £1.2bn worth of change to deliver in our region, oversight and assurance of our schedules is fundamental to our success. After all it all starts with a plan. Working in partnership with our suppliers, infrastructure and Unitary partners this is role will help draw the picture together.

The salary for this role is £50,788 - £53,994. This is the full-time equivalent salary, and will be pro-rata for part-time. We advertise salary ranges for job roles, with new appointments for external candidates typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, where higher skill levels or experience are applicable, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate. This approach allows for potential year-on-year salary increases, offering progression and appropriate rewards to employees.
