Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement officer to take on a key role supporting the South West Energy Hub at the West of England Combined Authority. The authority formed in 2017 delivers economic growth for the region and address some of our challenges, such as productivity and skills, housing and transport. The organisation is fast paced and continues to grow to meet regional priorities. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in public sector procurement looking to develop their career.
Reporting directly to the Procurement Business Partner in the Corporate Services directorate you will support delivery of a diverse range of projects primarily for the South West Energy Hub. These projects will deliver outcomes which will have a positive impact tackling the climate emergency across the wider south west region. Priorities for this role include supporting delivery of consultancy agreements for the South West Energy Hub. This is an exciting time to work with the Energy Hub and supporting their role to accelerate the transition to Net Zero Carbon.
This is a fixed term contract until March 2023.
