Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Programme Benefits Lead / Benefits Realisation Lead on a 1 year fixed term basis, to join the Transport Strategy team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
- Taking a lead on ensuring that the objectives and desired outcomes of the Joint Local Transport Plan and major scheme programme are defined into manageable benefits.
- Leading the development, reporting and maintenance of the Infrastructure Directorate’s Benefit Realisation Framework.
- Developing, maintaining and reporting upon the contents of the programme benefits management tracking.
- Overseeing and proactively engaging with projects and services to ensure that benefits realisation is on track and any risks to realisation are subject to change control and escalated via the appropriate channels.
