Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled programme manager to join the Transport Infrastructure Major Projects team within the West of England Combined Authority. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
- Leading the delivery of a sustainable transport programme within the Major Projects Portfolio.
- Developing strong stakeholder relations, supporting timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Ensuring a sharp focus on milestone adherence, financial control and value for money.
- Completing projects and programmes within cost, time, scope and quality requirements achieving the benefits for the residents of our region.
- Providing leadership in risk and dependency management aligned to robust governance and assurance.
- Leading the delivery of the programme to and through construction.
- Collaborating with the regions Unitary Authority and other delivery partners to ensure timely resolution of issues and delivery of projects.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our Unitary Authority partners to foster a commercially focused, collaborative and inclusive service provision.
