Project Manager - Digital Connectivity

Are you passionate about all things ‘digital’, especially digital inclusion, infrastructure and innovation? Do you want to tackle digital exclusion and ensure neither location nor income is a barrier to good connectivity?

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Project Manager – Digital Connectivity, to join the Strategic Innovation team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

  • Delivering the region’s Digital Infrastructure Action Plan.
  • Working in partnership with Councils, Telecoms Industry and Government to support digital infrastructure deployment.
  • ‘Barrier busting’ to make it quicker, easier and cheaper to roll-out better connectivity
  • Managing delivery of grant-funded projects.
  • Securing resources and funding.
  • Working across the Combined Authority, Councils and with external partners
  • Supporting delivery of Metro Mayoral priorities

Are you someone who understands place-based digital transformation and digital ecosystems, is able to collaborate across boundaries and engage stakeholders effectively, and ultimately always focuses on delivery?    

You will be a confident communicator, highly collaborative and passionate about ensuring that place-based digital transformation has a positive impact across our region.
