The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Project Manager – Digital Connectivity, to join the Strategic Innovation team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
- Delivering the region’s Digital Infrastructure Action Plan.
- Working in partnership with Councils, Telecoms Industry and Government to support digital infrastructure deployment.
- ‘Barrier busting’ to make it quicker, easier and cheaper to roll-out better connectivity
- Managing delivery of grant-funded projects.
- Securing resources and funding.
- Working across the Combined Authority, Councils and with external partners
- Supporting delivery of Metro Mayoral priorities
Are you someone who understands place-based digital transformation and digital ecosystems, is able to collaborate across boundaries and engage stakeholders effectively, and ultimately always focuses on delivery?
You will be a confident communicator, highly collaborative and passionate about ensuring that place-based digital transformation has a positive impact across our region.
