Project Officer

Job Introduction

The West of England Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Project Officer to join the Creative team within the Economy and Skills directorate. This is a really exciting time to join our friendly and ambitious  team who are committed to building a fit for the future creative and cultural sector and improving people’s lives through creativity. We have just been successful in securing significant funding from Arts Council England; matched with Combined Authority investment, to support a step change in our region for both communities and the creative and cultural sector. This new role will play a key part in managing the successful delivery of a 2 year programme and delivering on the priorities in the Combined Authority's Cultural Plan launched in February 2022.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Project and financial management of multiple programmes and projects
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure both internal and external work relationships are established and maintained
  • Data capture, analysis and reporting
  • Event management
  • Developing marketing and communication assets and campaigns

You will be able to work with limited supervision, self -initiate, demonstrate creative independence and manage own workload to meet deadlines. You will have experience of working in or with the creative and cultural sector in the West of England, are a great communicator and is passionate about making a difference for our sector, communities and places that will leave a lasting impact.
