Project Support Officer (1 year Fixed Term Contract)

Job Introduction

The West of England Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Project Support Officer to join the Infrastructure team on a 1 year fixed term basis, to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by working as part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) team. This role will encompass a range of complex project support as well as administrative responsibilities in an innovative and often fast-paced environment, flexing and adapting with the needs of the Infrastructure directorate. The ideal candidate will:

  • have worked in a project or programme environment, have good communication, analytical and organisational skills and an interest in developing your career in project management,
  • be a confident and fluent communicator in both verbal and written formats, you will be comfortable using your experience to prepare presentations and reports,
  • be required to understand and summarise complex technical information for decision makers.
