The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Research & Analysis Manager, to join the Analysis & Evaluation team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Mayor by:
- Working with a small team of analysts to design and manage research to inform our strategic direction, with a focus on transport and place;
- Bringing expertise in analysis to find creative answers to challenging research questions, building our understanding of the region’s economic, social and environmental conditions; and
- Leading the communication of evidence, providing clear insights to guide policy decisions.

The salary for this role is £52,413 - £55,722. This is the full-time equivalent salary, and will be pro-rata for part-time. We advertise salary ranges for job roles, with new appointments for external candidates typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, where higher skill levels or experience are applicable, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate. This approach allows for potential year-on-year salary increases, offering progression and appropriate rewards to employees.
