Resourcing Advisor

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

The Combined Authority is an ambitious organisation to work within, and with increased investment into key areas we now have a need to ensure we have the best talent in the region to deliver our objectives – that’s where you come in!

As Resourcing Advisor you will be the first point of contact for our Hiring Managers, partnering across the organisation to guide them through the resourcing process and relevant policies, identifying need and the best route to market in each situation, providing a supportive approach to ensure we minimise our time to hire.

You will ensure an effective talent pool is created for each role with the use of social media platforms, targeting key skills and ensuring adverts reach the desired audience.

You will have a good understanding of the current marketplace and be able to source appropriate interim resource to ensure an effective talent pool is continuously streamlined across the organisation.

Stakeholder engagement will be key in this role as will a collaborative approach, ensuring effective communication and regular updates with both internal hiring managers and external Supply Chain Partners.

In this role, it is important that you give the best-in-class customer service experience to everyone that you interact with, so feeling comfortable speaking with stakeholders at all levels and being confident in your project coordination abilities will be key to your success.

Ideally you will have experience of careers fairs, early careers and dynamic routes to hire new talent into the organisation. We are always thinking ‘outside of the box’ and welcome new ideas into the team that keep us ahead of the curve.

This role will work in collaboration with a second Resourcing Advisor and alongside two HR advisors, supported by HR administrators working to the strategy set by the Resourcing Manager.

If you are creative, with a passion for resourcing and would like to gain exposure to work across a range of projects enhancing Employer Value Proposition acting as a champion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity, then we would love to hear from you!

The role is full time (37 hours) and 12 month fixed term. We run a fully flexible hybrid working approach where you would be required to work in the office the equivalent of 1 to 2 days a week, and then from home for the remaining time.
