Senior Policy Manager - Place Strategy

Job Introduction

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Senior Policy Manager for Place Strategy to join the Housing and Place team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

  • Developing a strategic approach to place for the West of England, building an evidence-led narrative to support a framework for prioritising future regional investment.
  • Building relationships with colleagues across the region to identify cross-cutting issues and opportunities, embedding an understanding of place into workstreams across the Combined Authority.
  • Driving a long-term agenda for the region’s high streets and local centres, setting the direction for future investment decisions.
