Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager (Delivery) , to join the South West Net Zero Hub team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
- Shaping and leading a new team in the Hub, focussed on delivering key regional projects, including Local Energy Advice, a new Community Energy Fund, green skills provision, cross Hub programme co-ordination and new project development fund, Net Zero planning support and data & monitoring
- Advocating for projects, the team and SW Net Zero Hub locally, regionally and nationally
- Ensuring appropriate strategies and delivery plans are in place to achieve successful outcomes in each of the projects you will oversee
- Providing high quality progress reporting internally and externally
- Contributing to the strategic direction and broader delivery of the Hub as a member of it's management team
