Senior Project and Engagement Officer

Job Introduction

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Senior Project and Engagement Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract, to join the Business Growth and Enterprise team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:

  • Increasing awareness and accessibility of the support available to employers from the Mayoral Combined Authority as part of the Employer Engagement Service
  • Ensuring that the experience for businesses is straightforward and professional, leaving them with a highly positive view of the Mayoral Combined Authority and our services.
  • Working on the front line of a complex, often fast-paced environment, requiring you to be flexible and adapt to changing demands.
  • Managing community outreach and engagement projects, including direct proactive business engagement, marketing and cold calling.
  • Leading, managing and attending events, such as organising venues and stands, issuing invitations, presenting and contributing to in-depth discussions.

This is a fixed term role for 1 year.

To highlight, the salary range for this role is £41,511 - £44,711. It is standard policy to offer at the base of the band.  As well as ensuring fairness, this allows for annual incremental rises within the tiered structure of this banding.
