Senior Transport Operations Officer

Job Introduction

The West of England Combined Authority is the Local Transport Authority for the area covering Bristol City, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset. It is responsible for regional transport strategy and various operational transport functions, in particular for bus network planning, services and information. The Combined Authority has been successful in securing £540m of Government capital funding through the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) to deliver bus priority and other sustainable transport infrastructure investment over the next five years.

This Plan has attracted the 2nd highest funding award in the country and, coupled with the CRSTS funding, represents the single largest transport funding allocation ever seen in the region, which will transform bus travel for our citizens and visitors.

We are looking to recruit to a range of posts to help us deliver this ambitious programme over the coming years. From project and programme managers, to public transport and data experts, to communications advisers. From experienced professionals to entry level career posts.
