Job Introduction
We are looking for a creative and curious senior analyst to join the West of England Combined Authority. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for leading evidence to help shape our jobs and training programmes. Your work will make a direct difference to our progress, through understanding the challenges we face and identifying focal points for policy action. Your research will help to shape our response to the employment and skills needs of the region.
As well as being a rigorous analyst, you will be creative in building understanding of challenging issues, and have excellent communication skills. You will be enthusiastic about supporting the region’s economic and social development, with experience of using evidence to drive policy decisions, ideally with knowledge of the skills system. This post is a 12 month fixed-term appointment; we are also open to considering a secondment from other organisations.
